Do parents spend too much time on their mobile phones?

Do parents spend too much time on their mobile phones? Yes, they do. If you are a parent you may think that the occasional glance on your phone to check your emails won’t have an impact on your child, but it will. Say your child has achieved something, or if it’s just a regular day and they want your attention. Your mobile phones will never become old, but your child will. If you’re not careful you might just miss that! Here are the impacts that your mobile phone could have on your child’s life:

  1. Often, you may take your child to the park, as most parents do. I know that it is very common for parents to be staring at their phones instead of supervising their child, imagine what could happen.

  2. Your child may start to feel neglected.

  3. Say you are on face book and your account is public or someone who looks kind sends you a friend request and you accept it. It is your child’s first day of school and you take a picture of them in their uniform and post it. They see it and go to the school, what would happen then?
