Food Bank Visit

Food Bank Visit

In the lead up to Valentines Day, a group of our Year 8 students wanted to spread the message across all our community that they are not alone. Our fabulous young people organised a food bank drive within the school, with the theme of 'you are loved'.

The students really enjoyed helping the volunteers of the St. Helens Foodbank, getting the opportunity to weigh and organise food donations and help to pack bags that they then gave to centre clients.

It really was wonderful to see our students giving back to the community to which they belong.

"I really enjoyed seeing the effort that people put in to helping others." Lilly-Anne.

Well done to Aimee-Leigh and Olivia B for organising such a worthwhile event.
