Open Evening 2022 Success!

Open Evening 2022 Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Evening last night, it was brilliant to have so many of you through our door.

There was a range of subjects and activities on offer for our community to explore and get involved with on the evening. As well the opportunity to meet staff from all departments, including our Curriculum Leaders, Senior Leadership Team and the Heads of Year 7.

After three years, Mrs Twist held two Headteacher's Talks to a busy and packed Drama Theatre, expressing how proud she was to lead the St Cuthbert's community.

In her speech she said: "I am immensely proud to be the headteacher of this school. I am proud of all of our students and staff for their efforts and achievements, that they gain here every day."

Heads of Year 7, Mrs Dawber and Mr Heywood, were also available to talk to our future students and their families and answer any questions or queries they had.

A very special Art Exhibition in the Art Department, in the main building, showcased the fantastic work created by our GCSE Classes of 2022, whilst in the Food Room people had the opportunity to decorate their own cupcake in celebration for St Cuthbert's 65th birthday!

Our students, along with our 2022-23 Senior Team were fantastic tour guides, showing all aspects of the school and being brilliant representatives for St Cuthbert's.
