The Farne

St Cuthbert spent over 10 years living as a hermit on Inner Farne having moved to the island in 676 and died there in 687.

The Farne in school is a friendly, happy and caring place helping students with advice and guidance on a range of matters in a peaceful environment.

"Pupils appreciate the calm spaces, dedicated mentors and specialist counsellors available to them. Pupils receive strong support for their mental health in the school's pastoral base, The Farne." Ofsted, July 2022

Farne Manager and Learning Mentor
