Training the body as well as the mind

On Friday, we welcomed local personal trainer Darren Moss to school. Darren very kindly offered advice to groups of Y11 students on the importance of fitness and nutrition as part of their preparation for revision for their forthcoming GCSE exams.
The students received advice on how being active, eating the right foods and having regular sleeping patterns can aid the body and mind to ensure that optimal results are achieved.
He also shared how important it was to exercise just before each exam, even just 10 minutes on the treadmill at the gym at school would have an increased benefit.
