Bethlehem Peace Light

13 December 2017

Last year, Mrs Twist and two of our students, Daniel and Megan attended and read at the Bethlehem Peace light service at St Anne's church, in which the light of peace travelled from Bethlehem to all parts of the world.

St Cuthbert's will be taking part in the service again this year which takes places on Tuesday, 19th December 2017 at 6:00pm at St Anne & Blessed Dominic Church and will be attended by Mrs Twist who will be taking part in the service together with a group of our Y7 & Y8 students singing in the choir made up of schools from all over St Helens.

The whole of the Sutton Community come together to receive the Peace Light - this includes 7 churches, 8 schools and the local Scout Group. Together they welcome visitors from across the North West, who join together to collect the Light and make a promise to work for peace.  Archbishop Mahon will also be attending the service.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
