We Are Making a Noise........Against Bullying.
20 November 2015
This week is Anti-Bullying week and we have been raising awareness of this serious issue in school. Mrs Tomlin and Mrs Carvill have led the campaign, inviting students to 'drop in' to talk about any concerns they or their friends may have about this issue.
Form groups have been designing 'Anti-bullying' posters all week. The winner pictured with her winning poster (below) is the talented Martyna Zielinska of 8ADY.
Mr Macauley has led House assemblies all week, with Mrs Carvill and Mrs Tomlin and students have found out a lot about the different forms that bullying can take and what motivates a bully.
Students have also been encouraged to use the Anti-bullying suggestion box (in the foyer), by filling in the little footprints given out in form. Students could suggest ways to help with this issue and let us know if they feel that this issue affects either themselves or their friends.
The suggestion box will remain in the foyer. Lets stand up to bullying and 'Make a Noise!'
