Live Broadcasting @WA12RadioShow

07 December 2015

Year 7 students Rebecca Lawton and Demi Lee Kenny were among a group of Girl Guides and their leaders who visited the WA12Radio studios last Thursday evening to do a little "live broadcasting".

Demi Lee made her Guide Promise live on air and Rebecca, who has been playing the piano since she was five years old, played 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' from 'The Wizard of Oz'.  The girls enjoyed a fantastic evening and were really excited to have taken part.  "It was brilliant" said Demi.  Rebecca said she was little bit nervous but "really enjoyed the experience".

Before they left the studio they played 'Sorry' by Justin Bieber because they were sorry to go!

Each one of the group of very excited Guides left with a certificate for their achievement of broadcasting live "on air".

Well done girls and what an experience!
