Anti-Bullying Week 16-20 November 2015

19 November 2015

This week is Anti Bullying week.

Throughout the week students have taken part in anti-bullying assemblies to learn about bullying and what they can do if they are being bullied or know someone who is being bullied. The theme for anti bullying week this year is 'Make a noise', this encourages our students to tell someone about being bullied or if it's someone they know, to make a noise about it.

Bullying is not tolerated at St Cuthbert's and students know that they can speak to any member of staff about being bullied. There is also a display in the Foyer providing extra information for students, giving examples of famous people who have been bullied but have turned things around, for example Barack Obama.

To find out more check out the Anti-bullying Alliance website

Students can also speak to our Anti Bullying Co-ordinators Mrs Tomlin and Mrs Carvill or any member of staff for support.
