How long have you worked at St Cuthbert's?
Can you share a favourite memory about St Cuthbert's?
I have so many favourite memories! It's hard to pick just one, so some of them are the afterschool GCSE art group I helped with, The Musicals, and shows I've been involved in, mentoring students with dazzlingly bright futures and the many trips and visits I've been a part of, especially the Year 8 Trip to France in 2011 and the Wimbledon trips!
What made you go into teaching/working in a supporting role in school?
I had just moved into the area and I was looking for a job where I could help people and naturally found Education as a suitable avenue for that. I started as an LSA and moved through many roles before my current one.
What is the best bit of advice you can give to your students?
Work hard. Never think anything is 'good Enough' because the second you realise that 'good enough' wasn't enough it will be too late.
What do you enjoy most about working at St Cuthbert's?
Seeing little year 7s turn into young men and women with the world at their feet when they leave.
