Mrs Anders

How long have you worked at St Cuthbert's?

4 years

Can you share a favourite memory about St Cuthbert's?

My favourite memory at St Cuthbert's was being asked by a former student to accompany them in a dance & music duo for The Spotlight Concert. It was a real privilege to be a part of that student's journey and to see them develop and grow through the years.

What made you go into teaching/working in a supporting role in school?

At school and college I was really inspired to go into an Arts career by various Art teachers, technicians and resident Artists. If I can do the same for just one student in my time here it will make me very happy, and pay something back to those who inspired me so much.

What is the best bit of advice you can give to your students?

Do not be afraid to make mistakes. They are what build us as people, and some of life's greatest experiences come from mistakes.

What do you enjoy most about working at St Cuthbert's?

I love the sense of community at St Cuthbert's. It really is a family, we support each other through the highs and the lows, whilst striving for the best and having fun.
