Taking a group of Year 7 students to Chester Zoo. To see the excitement and the level of interest and engagement they had with the exhibits and animals was a fantastic experience.
What made you go into teaching/working in a supporting role in school?
working with young people to help shape, and perhaps influence their future.
What is the best bit of advice you can give to your students?
Don't be afraid of getting things wrong and making mistakes. School is about trying and learning new and different things. The best way, is to learn from your mistakes and gaining the experience from getting things wrong.
What do you enjoy most about working at St Cuthbert's?
The school ethos and just how much the school is invested in its young people and the wider community.
