How long have you worked at St Cuthbert's?

One year and a term.

Can you share a favourite memory about St Cuthbert's?

My favourite memory so far at St Cuthbert's has to be GCSE results day 2017. I was so proud to see our Year 11 Historians celebrate their fantastic results, all of their hard work truly paid off. I also have excellent memories from our recent GCSE History trip to Krakow to visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp. The trip was a fantastic experience for us all.

What made you go into teaching/working in a supporting role in school?

I have always wanted to work in a rewarding job in which I could help other people. In school I had very inspiring teachers, and as I loved learning about History; to become a History teacher became my goal. I am very fortunate to be able to say that I love my job!

What is the best bit of advice you can give to your students?

Do not be disheartened if you fail at something. The best lessons can be learnt after a fail. Never give up!

What do you enjoy most about working at St Cuthbert's?

How much the students make me smile and laugh every day, they are delightful.
