Waterside Training Apprenticeship Programme

Waterside Training Limited successfully recruited 23 students who commenced their Engineering, Manufacturing and Laboratory Apprenticeships in September 2015.

 

Our Advanced Apprenticeship applications are now open to apply for our 2016 Intake of Apprenticeship Recruitment in Engineering and Manufacturing areas.

This year we will be recruiting for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Technicians to commence in September 2016 with a wide range of our multi-national organisations based in St Helens, Leigh, Warrington, Bolton, Runcorn, Manchester, Liverpool and Wigan.

 

Our apprenticeships cover a variety of qualifications from academic, vocational and site based experience as well as being employed, earning a wage and working with industry experts within our sponsoring company sites such as Diageo based at Runcorn, Schneider based in Warrington along with many more companies.   Our current client list includes NSG Group, NSG European Technical Centre, Diageo, Schneider Electric, MyFresh, NGF Europe, Linpac Packaging, Alpla UK, Actavis, Fairport Engineering, Knauf Insulation, TEVA Pharmaceuticals, Warburtons, Rentokil Initial Supplies, QVC, JKSP Services and Fruitapeel.  

 

We also have scheduled an Open Evening on Wednesday 16 March 2016 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for any prospective students and their parents and or teachers and careers advisers who would like to come along and discover more about our apprenticeship opportunities within Engineering and Manufacturing.   There is no need to book or reserve a place just come along and join our team for a chat between 4 and 8:30pm.  The event will mean you can speak with our staff, apprentices and company representatives as well as viewing our facilities and finding about the opportunities and succession routes our apprenticeships can offer.   Over 80% of apprentices are still with their sponsoring companies after completing their apprenticeship, with many progressing on to University Degrees and higher management roles.
