Donate an Egg for Easter.

21 March 2016

It's the time of year that we are thinking about the sacrifice that Our Lord made for us on the cross. We have all given up something that we enjoy during Lent, and now the prospect of cracking open a few chocolate eggs fills us with anticipation for Easter.

With this in mind the Senior team have decided that this is a great opportunity to make a small sacrifice this week. Can you spare one of your Easter eggs for someone less fortunate this year? All this week the Senior team will be visiting Form rooms during registration collecting chocolate eggs. The eggs will be sent to our local Parr Nursing Home and Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where Matthew Lee received his treatment recently.

Lets live out our golden rule this week and 'treat others as we would like to be treated' - If we can donate a few eggs per form then we really will make someone's Easter very special.
