Y7 Glasgow Football Tour

09 May 2016

We went to Glasgow at the weekend on a football trip and we all had a great time.

The journey up there on the coach was really funny because of the banter. One of the best bits was getting to talk to people that we wouldn’t normally get to talk to.

On the Saturday morning, we played against Jordanhill School in Glasgow and they had a strong, well organised team but we still managed to win and scored lots of goals. It was good playing against them because after the game they were really welcoming and respectful and made us food and drinks. Their captain presented Liam with a small trophy and we gave them a pennant.

In the afternoon, we walked round Kelvingrove park and had another kickabout. It was great staying in the hotel with our mates and we had some dares in the rooms which was a laugh. It was hilarious when Jordan took the room card out of the machine when someone was in the shower and it cut all the electricity in the room. We went ten pin bowling at night and everyone had a laugh putting all the tickets into the machine before we left.

On Sunday we watched Celtic against Aberdeen at Celtic Park and the atmosphere was boss! There were loads of goals and fans were singing all the way through the game.

The football tour was an experience we’ll never forget. Thanks to all the staff for making it happen.
