Good luck to Paul Nash with the England RL Youth Team

21 March 2016

Paul has been selected to represent England Rugby League Youth on their tour to France this week. He has achieved this honour after some consistently outstanding performances at school, club and whilst playing for St Helens Academy. It is a fantastic achievement and as a school we are really proud.

Mr Arkell, Head of Boys' PE stated, "Paul thoroughly deserves this opportunity, his work ethic, performance and attitude have been exemplary since day one. He is a fantastic role model for our younger students and the department are really proud and pleased his dedication is being rewarded. I'm sure Paul will make the most of this opportunity and I hope this is another step at the beginning of an exciting career".

Paul as usual is taking everything in his stride commenting, "I'm really pleased to be representing my country in the sport I love. I'm just going to do my best and make my family proud".

We're sure they already are Paul and St Cuthbert's wishes you all the best!
