Cuthies Cougars are National Champions Again!!

Cuthies Cougars embraced the UKCA Schools National Championships again this year with the tough quest of hoping to maintain their winning streak from last year. Having had a turbulent year of rehearsals due to a number of factors, the squad were only able to start practicing their final routine 6 weeks prior to the competition.  A lot of hard work, commitment, dedication and perseverance was needed by all the squad members over those final weeks to create and perfect a fast paced and complex routine.  The routine itself was choreographed by our fantastic ex-students Mia and Tayler Emery who helped coach the squad along with support from Kim Ellis and Ellie Wynn.

 

On entering the floor, the determination of our cheerleaders was apparent and they succeeded in producing their best performance to date, scoring some fantastic marks and retaining the title of National Champions in Key Stage 5 Level 3 Cheerleading.  What an amazing achievement and Ms Hannah is extremely proud of her team.
